I have a thing about playing with paper
My son said that his Mum has a black belt in origami  and a fascination for paper engineering.

I find it relaxing :) but, I have found a link to a wonderful Kirigami (cut not folded, paper) book that makes the architectural type models I've been playing with recently.

Unfortunately for me it's in Russian, and I can follow it well enough by illustration, but I'd love a copy of the book. So, does anyone on the boards speak Russian ? and if so, is there any chance you could find out if the book is available ?
Does Amazon do Russia ? …..or does Ru mean Romanian ?

p.s. This one.

There is an app you can get that translates words if you hover you're camera over it. Wouldn't work for reading a whole book, but for stuff like instructions it ia supposedly good.

I forget the bame but a but of carefull googling should find it.

Amazon UK has the book for sale, the book is Architectural Origami by Tatyana Stolyarova (sometimes spelt with an I instead of a y), there is a page on Etsy with same name so may be same person, here, https://www.etsy.com/ca/people/tanusha

Book is expensive though, here it is https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/5462014635/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=

That's the book :D
You're not joking it's expensive though. Wonder if I can get a paperback edition ?

Thanks folks, the help is much appreciated :D :approve:

Get the IBSN number of the book, contact the big book retails, such as waterstones and ask if there is an English version or equivalent.
