There are quite a few of us from around south wales. I know a few of the guys started up a small group that meets up every now and again.

I'm in Neath.
As Ed said there are quite a few of us knocking around and they're a good bunch. I don't get to the moot or the local meets anywhere near as often as I'd like but when I do the reception is always fantastic, friendly and very helpful and sharing. While the Wales subforum has been a bit quiet lately you can always post when your available and I'm sure couple of guys would be up for a night or two around the campfire with q drink or two and sharing their knowledge.

I used to live there for a few years, I hated it though the factories were horrible not much there, etc.
But you walk out of it to some lovely country.
Grew up in Brecon but sadly got myself pulled across the bridge, parents now about half way between Chirk and The Berwyns.
Well anyway I'm about to go out for the day up a place called cwm, never really heard it's real name, but it's a good walk, I'm keeping my eyes open for any boletus mushrooms.
Pontypool is based on the Wesh "Pont ap Hywel", meaning The son of Hywel's bridge. Nothing to do with pools.

Hey, not that we're on here much, but me and the ladyfriend are from Cardiff, more specifically Caerau and Pentyrch respectively. I didn't realise there were so many welsh folk on here
