I know some people use it on kitchen knives on another forum. They strop on post it notes on a glass plate. I don't know what stones you have, but you have to have a 10.000 grit stone. If not the space between your last stone and your "strop" will be too big. It is diamond paste, which WILL CUT A LOT FASTER than chromium or aluminum oxide.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Michiel

I have some of that for my straight razor, for a final polish it's great and makes for a more comfortable shave - you really DON'T want a toothy edge on your razor :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I tried it on my knives, but the advantage of that over flitz wasn't really noticeable

What is flitz I never have heard of that? :)

Flitz is a brand name for a type of metal polish. Very similar to Autosol Chrome Polish. looks a bit like toothpatse and comes in a toothpaste type tube too. You can get it from places like car spares shops, Halfords and even the Motoring Aisle in some of the larger Tescos and the like.
