I caved this spoon out of sycamore at the bushcraft magazine mayday meet the other weekend and I sanded it when I got home.im quite pleased with it,it's definitely the best one I've done so far but it's only my third attempt.i'm just waiting for my own gransfors bruks hand hatchet to arrive so I can do some more caving without having to borrow somebody else's.

Thank you,it's no where near prefect but I'm happy with it.what I like about carving spoons is that you forget about everything and just concentrate on what you doing.
 
That's a bonny wee spoon that. Really like its form and proportions. Would be more than chuffed using that three times a day.
If that's only your third one I can see great things ahead.

Thank you,I will post pictures of my next spoon/spoons. I'm just going to let my brain and the wood decide what the next one will look like lol,but half of me thinks I can't better that one.
