Hey Folks,
I'm new here, am 36 and live just outside Winchester. I have recently got interested again in wildcamping and bushcraft to add to the general hillwalking I enjoy when I can.
I am finding the site to be a treasure trove of useful information and ideas to try - I've already started carving a spoon (which my girlfriend initially described as being 'a bit 'daddy-bear' hehe) and am looking forward to making some charcloth then a fire-bow.
I've started to re-examine my camping gear and, where possible, replacing items such as gas burning stoves, with twig-burners such as the Bush-cooker, to allow me greater freedom when in the hills.
Off to Dartmoor this coming weekend and can't wait
Cheers!
