Title sounds a bit brutal, but I'm a knifemaker and was hoping to find a decent and relatively cheap source of stag antlers and animal hides for leatherwork and handle making. You'll pay for the nose on eBay, and I'd assume all the ones from the abattoir are already sold off to someone as an agreement. Any ideas?

Best chance for antler pieces is probably a walking stick maker in a rural area. Sometimes they sell the complete antler or possibly just the lengths that you would want to make a thumb stick handle or slabs for a knife handle.

One cheap option for antler can be buying from someone who sells them as dog chew toys, ideal for walking sticks too
