Hello All.
For your consideration, an original AG Russell Sting 1a.
Not to be confused with the current version from CRKT, this was produced in Solingen Germany and the blade is marked as such. This was the knife of choice for John Rourke, the fictional character from Jerry Ahern's Survivalist books, which is I have to admit one of the reasons I bought it from Framer way back in 1983/84.
Condition, it isn't mint, but then I have never tried to throw it underhand to knock a pistol from the hand of a KGB agent either.
It shows some minor scratches and the original 'shiny black chrome' finish has been polished away in places with day to day wear.
The sheath is in good condition and still performs its task well.
