Speaking of Amazonas, there must be one of you out there who has tried one of these, or their less technical equivalents. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazonas-Mountain-Swinger-Hanging-Hammock/dp/B000OOR4O2
Do you have any informed advice on something that can be left out in all seasons ? I'm really talking about garden furniture here, not camping equipment.

This has since seen a fair bit of use. Packs down neatly for trips when weight isn't a problem. We also went for a simpler all-weather chair for the garden (hung from a sea buckthorn).
I have had 2 the first one lasted for one trip on which the zipper exploded, the second was a replacement from the mfg. after I told them the first busted. I have had that for about 3 years now using 2 or 3 times a year since. I am 5'11" and have no troubles with size you do need to sleep on a diagonal to fit comfortably, I have had disc surgery and sleep well in mine. I have added a rope across the rings to keep them at the same distance no matter the distance between trees. I will see if I can find pics.
