Has anyone had any dealings with "Airsoft Dynamics"?

I ordered a Spec-Ops Brand PackRat from them in December and they have not yet supplied.

They have already charged my credit card.

I have e-mailed them twice with no reply other than an automated "You will be contacted within 48 hours" and the phone just says ring back in office hours which is exactly when I am ringing!

I have given them till Monday morning to contact me before I dispute the transaction with Visa.

I have been shafted by a couple of firms now,once for £60 and once for £100.

It's just the way things are these days.

I had success with them. I ordered a rarity that was discontinued, but their man in Japan sourced one, for me, but it took over 2 months. They charged me as soon as I placed the order which worried me. I collected it in person, and they have a reasonable setup on a mini industrial setup on a farm with other companies there too.

I thought a quick post was in order, concerning Airsoft Dynamics (AD) and their apparent lack of communication since the start of this year. In short it's pretty clear that despite any official word AD are history; the staff and shop have disappeared.

From a couple of conversations I've had it's clear that the guys behind AD are still alive and kicking, reading material and customer complaints that have been posted online in the forums here and elsewhere. I understand that the premises that they used to occupy are empty and vacant, and that this was a planned closure. The staff have effectively gone into hiding, not posting on any of the forums.

As far as I know AD's website is still taking/processing orders at the moment, and given that the staff for the company have vanished the only real recommendation that can be made at this time is not to place orders until the current state of affairs changes and to pass the word on to your friends.

My understanding is that AD were registered as a sole trader with Paul Jones as the listed owner whilst they were operational. I would urge all that are owned money or goods to exchange details and get organised to recover what they can right now. Whilst it may well not be possible to get a full refund for goods not delivered, you can at least be hopeful that any of your equipment that you sent in to AD for repair/upgrade still exists and hopefully hasn't been thrown in the nearest skip. Given that the shop has been closed should you wish to speak to them your only course of action would be to politely attempt to contact the shop's owner(s) at their home address. It's also probably worthwhile making contact with the nearest Police department to AD to ask for help. In short.. get off your behinds now and do something together before it's too late.

Anyone from AD (Paul, James, or Yuki) are welcome to place a post on the forums to correct any of the above text. It is sad to see this chosen course from staff that are/were much liked players in the UK Airsoft scene."

Looks pretty bad to me. I'm particularly annoyed that they contacted me to say that my order would take a few weeks to deliver just two days before their "planned closure"....

Very unprofessional if what has been reported is true. Wayland I had a pain-free refund from my credit card in a similar situation. Should be pretty straightforward.

Just caught up with this thread. I too ordered a packrat from Airsoft in December. Card has been debited as well. people. I'm doing my best to trace them. If there's any joy I'll be in touch.

In the meantime, I ordered through this guy on evilbay...

Cost $35 (bout £20). Shipping was quite cheap but be warned...It was stuck at import for 10days and they chardged me an extra £9-95 for import tax .

I've had a nightmare with this bag...but it's now sitting beside me. I'm doing a mini review as we speak (posted into "kit" so you can make your mind up if it's worth it).

I ordered one of those from them too, but they did at least tell me it was out of stock and would hold my payment until it came in. Thankfully I got a refund.
So many people tend to take money without stock and it really p's me off. I wish they would be honest rather than pretend they have in ready for delivery and just rob me of interest for weeks.
