Why go sledging at an airport? They are usually fairly level and sledges work more efficiently if you use gravity to reduce your effort.

Given the choice i'd have one with sides to it...fair old price difference too

I took one of these to Finland this year for a week long trip in February. Don't waste your money. The ppostage is more than the sled and they're ****.

I would imagine the side walls would stiffen the shape which is opposite to the advantage of the Toboggan.

The flex in the length improves it's performance dramatically.

The deadsleds are ok but only on light trips,thay will do the job ,but you can make one no probs ...

Bit academic given the general consensus but you lads that have used them, do the side walls stiffen them that much?
