Fantastic! I love the way you've managed to carve the faces but still retain the essential 'woodiness' of your material.

Hi Everyone,
Blimey I'm genuinely humbled by your comments
Only posted to contribute a little bit to this forum
The two carvings are made from lime wood and were carved using a few flexcut tools
I try to keep the tools to a minimum in a bushcraft sort of ethos
Each one is about 6 inches high

I've got a few projects in the pipeline including
A stitch and tape open canoe
Walking staff with a gargoyle top
Ohh and I've just built a shave horse as my lovely wife would like some bodged dining chairs
So I will post when they are happening thanks to your encouragement
