Thanks for all your thoughts. We went the way of Ogri and going for living space and family feel.

Got a 5m bell tent which gives us 50% more ground area. Also the pole is a lot taller so we get a lot more usable standing space. We are going to make a sleeping section that we can put up for childrens naps and bedtime. And like Ogri says, the bedding will be used during the day as seating.

We will be testing it out at Sedbergh festival in a few weeks.

Also thinking about an awning for the side doors on the van. Proper ones are over £400! We'll see what I come up with.
