The last time I saw it was three years ago when I lent it to my in-law while he renovated his house.
It's rare I get anything back what I've lent out.
That used to happen to me, but I have a rule now. If I lend something out, I lend things out 1 at a time per person. If someone asks to borrow something else, I refuse unless item 1 is returned first.
My uncle has a good method - wherever the item lives in his house, he leaves a little note of who has borrowed it and when. That way when he goes to use it, he knows who has it!
It's made people realise quite how much of MY stuff is in regular use in THEIR house and garden...
