by me! my first attempt at a 'stacked handle ' knife.basicly the knife has a thin tang, pieces of materials are cut a slit cut in the middle then slipped over the tang, stuck to eachother with a contact adhesive, here ive used bodgers billy the dexter bull, brass and ebony! the blade is again fron the same saw blade as the first one.once the materials are stacked the end of the tang is gently hammered ,as it flattens out it compacts the layers and secures it all in place.then the handle is shaped ,sanded polished and oiled.
and here is the finished product compleat with sheath, the bottom part is polished cow horn.
