Looks like Amazon UK has them in paperback from 39.95 and down. Doesn't say if they're the complete set or if one of the volumes though.

Hopefully you'll have some luck with the public library. I know you want to buy your own but at least if they have one you'll be able to get the publisher's info and possibly find a local dealer who can order one.
