My dear knowledgeable people of this superb forum I had a question.
why is Down usually mixed with 10% small feathers, is it better for the expansion of the down, is it so the down doesnt get compressed to much
or does it have anything to do with moisture sensitivity? or just costs, it seems to simple and some what unlogical as they do it even in the most expensive bags
I am a designer myself, and was hoping to get myself into the designing of anything from sleeping bags to backpacks, canoes and clothes.
So lets hope that someone can enlighten me.
