I'm currently recovering from a really bad chest infection so I've been hitting Youtube a lot.

One of the things I came across was this documentary was this, a biography of Ernie James, the last of the Fen Tigers who made a living by eel catching and punt gunning.

I’ve seen much of what’s inthis video at the Broads Museum.

I think I share Ernie’s attitude. Times and needs are changing. Also, I do not think that once a skill is no longer practiced that it has gone forever. We are an ingenious species. We can reinvent what we have invented and more if we need to.
