A long winter... Cod season!

We went out last monday and my mate had this the flukey sod.
He had his line right next to mine and says that he'll move his across a bit just at the same moment as it struck.
If his bait wasn't there I would've had it Still, I had a conger to make up for it.

aww man ye got me fishing heid on now,lol
i used to fancy going codding in the scannie fiords but the 3 day £49 return ferry to bergan from north shields was stopped last year, i'll just have to try me luck on the north sea coast instead .
