The method shown is very similiar to how I am doing them now I have a booklet on it from Thomas Lofgren which is very good i think and I have learned a lot from it.

How do you get that pattern on the sheath? Is it dabbed with acid?

brancho: Okey good.I spoke to him on the phone a couple of weeks ago. He is realy nice. And a realy a good knifemaker, He is winning many competions in sweden.

sharp88: I wrap the paper around the knife and push the paper against the blades "edge" so it leaves a pattern on the paper, then i go up to the handle and take the folded paper and hold it tight around the handle, then i push the paper against the belly, the middle of the belly. Against the hole handle belly so it leaves marks on the paper, then i put out the knife and write with a pen in the marks both the blade marks and handle marks. I hope you understand if not just ask i try to explaine.
