A horn drinking cup

Quite enjoying the scratchy stuff on horn so I fettled this one for one of my favourite tipples. Still to be lined in beeswax.

Fantastic! Horn is a working material that I've always admired but never used. Wouldn't spit that drink out, either.

Did you polish the interior? then lined (sealed) it? With bee's wax?

The horn was surprisingly smooth on the inside, no signs of delamination. I'll wash with boiling water 3 or 4 times on the inside and then seel with beeswax.

I like that. The scrimshaw works well on the horn.
