A Bo Staff makes a very good walking stick, the ferrules made by Fussells fit perfectly and prevent slippage and wear.
Mines about 20 years old and still going strong, its nice Japanese oak with a lovely grain.
When I had my Denali Llama Packraft made, I had lashing points fitted on the starboard side to mount my Bo'.
