they are OK to wear, I have ones with rubber dots and plain ones without any dots or coating. Feels just like cotton so not hot to wear. I don't think they will by good for protecting you from thorns because they can get between the weave of the glove.

If anyone's to be sued, it's myself for the stupidity in the way I was handling my Clipper. It wasn't all bad, I got a good final mark in psych and got the stitches out a week later. Okay, so it was about the worst b-day present ever having to leave the stitches in another week, but whatever....I look like a tough mountain man with the huge scar on my finger!
