a few recent bits of leather

rancid badger

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
Now that I'm working a 12 hr shift pattern that involves 4 days at work and 6 days off, I've got what I haven't had for years; plenty of quality spare time, snag is, the devil finds work for idle hands etc:rolleyes:

These are a few bits I've either knocked up as experiments or been asked to make for folk;

Thanks for the very kind compliments, mind you; I've only just noticed the rain spots!:rolleyes:

I do the decoration completely free-hand, I just soak the job with a spray bottle then doodle with a variety of tools, mostly home made.

I set off to represent bramble leaves and a stream but deliberately abstract, as I'm totally s...hopeless at anything "formal" but I soon "doodled off" and ended up with what you see in the pictures:eek:

I'd love to be able to do the celtic stuff in particular but whenever I try it, it just never seems to work out.

I can just about get away with cup and ring marking, something that really fascinates me.

thanks again

all the best

Steve
