This was a Whitler I made with antler scales, 2.5" blade 6.25" overall 3mm thick.The blade was designed around the antler to try and maintain most of the texture of the antler.

Yes I like the antler too there is something quite special about using it (apart from the smell). Maybe I will treat myself to one one day !
Currently making a small whittler/carver with Cow Bone scales that I got off my butcher, never used bone before so hopefully it will turn out ok.

Very nice, specially the antler.
 
Holm oak - just one of the nicest of the timbers to be found in the UK, I've always loved it; Oh and the knives are pretty fine, too!.................atb mac
 
Stunning work as usual mate!! I love them all but the one that does it for me the most is the top little whittler! :)

Cowboy - I made the whittler for myself but there was an opportunity to sell it so I did. Just glued bone scales on another similar one today. Will post pictures when done.
