Did you use the flexcut for the whole bowl? They are great tools but...small! Must have taken a while. But definately the sharpest out the box tools i've ever owned. Managed to make quite a deep cut in my finger with mine a few minutes after I got it. Healed a treat though!

yeah they are very sharp got a 3/4 inch scar on my helf hand from it. didnt blead at all. lol. no uses crooked knife as well. would have been a few days in the shed otherwise

My crooked knife is double sided too. I was given it as a present. Had I been buying it i would have gone for the single sided one. However, I have found that if you are carving a hollow that is an unusual shape rather than just circular it does help you reach places that would be difficult otherwise.
