i was asked by one of our great members to make him a leather belt.
he bounced some ideas to me, and asked me to make it happen.
he wanted this belt so that he did not have to keep taking the belt of when adding new pouches and such like.
this belt is 13/4 inch wide, and to worn on the out side of clothing.
this belt was made out of the best bridle leather i could get my hands on, and has all brass furnishings.
so this is what i made him.
hope you like it.

he then asked me to make a leather cover for his moleskin.
he wanted this in black, and to have a little oak leaf and some initials putting inside.
i made this out of premium calf skin.
and it was dyed with pro oil dye.
hope you like it.

i was then asked by our very own cowboy to make him a multicarry for him.
it is for his rob evans woodlore.
he wanted this in dark brown, and to have sam brown studs, and for me to add some embellishment to it for him.
hope you like it.

Whose leather, just out of interest? Baker's or Sedgwick's or someone else?

Nice work.

Geoff
Only the best buddy, bakers.
I have to say mate, want a dream to work with I can believe how tight the grain is, and how supple it is, it's like velvet to the touch, it's not what I would want to use for sheaths but for belts, top draw.
Hope that helps mate.
Take care.
Lee.
What else I ave been doing is, me dad travels averifier the country, and when he comes across a new tannery, he lets me no and when I can I go a long with him and take a look, and buy a hide here and there, he has found a few in Scotland just lately, and it's nice to be able to hand pick your hides if you can.

I'll second that and the town their in Matlock is very pretty and you can spend a day there or in Matlock Spa quite easily. On bus and train routes from Derby too.

No connection just a happy customer
