That's a hard life you have there bud! Very rewarding I bet but nontheless a hard one! I think you must liv ein one of the remotest communities around. I hope the estate is strill run on the grounds of no motor access to the hill, only pony's to preserve the Letterewe wilderness area. Well that's the way that Dutchman always said it would be but I think he passed away? It's an awesome place to live and I really think you should try to walk that walk I told you about in the post-if you haven't already! (hope your package arrived safely- I think you'll need it in that boat!). Thanks for sharing the photo's and a snapshot into your life!

Its all pony extraction, we do have an old pick up mainly for taking feed out to the ponies but there is no were to drive to so to speak. If the ponies are up the hill then its a walk to fetch them down but this the snow every think is down even the stags 'n' hinds.

I just realised your just South of Loch Ewe! I used to go there on exercise quite often. Lovely area, well illustrated by your great pic's. I always thought it funny that Loch Ewe had an island in the middle, called Isle of Ewe, is it just me?

Loch Maree has Isle Maree and Eilean Subhainn has a Loch no it so its a Loch inside a loch
