This is a Winter Moot creation, during a workshop by Neil and Jayne of Forgeways.
Nice little bit of hazel I roughly whittled. Thought it might look quite cool with a bit of scorching combined with the rough knife finish, and I’m quite pleased with it.
First brush I’ve ever made, so plenty of notes for next time (I’d carve a groove for the wire, for example) but plenty happy with it. Needed a pastry brush at home so the timing was perfect.

Tool used for whittling was my Ben Orford Woodlander. Cruised through the hazel no dramas at all.
