I've seen this sort of this on Amazon before. I looked at a book that was priced at £250 on Amazon because it was in short supply or out of print. Got it from a bookshop for £12.

I just got a Selous Scout book from eBay for a fiver! They go for 20 quid, 40 and sometimes over 60!

Just keeping an eye out for a cheap copy of Pamwe Chete now!

I saw the thread and was about to come up with some righteous reply along the lines of 'knowledge is priceless', compared to a pricey jacket etc. blah blah, but OMG . That's just a joke - someone is definitely extracting the yellow-stuff.

i actually have a copy of this book, it's not bad, but for £400 (heck, even £300), i'd sell it like a shot. Any takers?

What makes it even more amusing is when you click on the new or used link it tells you it was £16.99 talk about inflation ,perhaps the seller works for the bank of england!! :yikes:
