A bit of impish fun

I was looking for a bit of inspiration as to what to carve next having had my interest rekindled by @Gary Elson s excellent how to thread. Being a yellow belly a Lincoln imp seemed appropriate so I made this attempt using a piece of horse chestnut that came down in the winds a while back. It’s a long way from perfect but it’s been fun carrying it around in my pocket and working on it when I’ve had a few minutes to kill over the last few weeks

Thanks for the compliments chaps, much appreciated. I’ve had another play today and come up with this little guy. He’s based on a tutorial booklet called “Little Guys” although I can’t remember the author off hand.
