I've made one of the 'pressurised' stoves following Martyn's thread on British Blades http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5613

Fairly easy to build, cost next to nothing, and worked a treat. Have to admit it roared a bit like a jet engine once it got going which was a little bit disconcerting, cause I could hear the seam between the outer and inner can expanding with little pops! All good fun.

Now if anyone is interested in making a nice little alcohol stove mine is small 1-1/2 tall 1-1/2 round made out of a butane can and a snapple bottle cap its a pressure stove plus how to make a pot stand also could put up picture its a nice set up let me know[ p. s. its a top burner ] plus how to do it all here the times1/2 oz. fuel 20 oz. water 7-1/2 min boil 12 min burn time denatured alcohol
