32 and just getting started

Hi all
My name is Brett I,m 32 a Brummie living in Barwell, Leicestershire and have decided it's time to learn something new. At the moment I,m looking at carving a spoon and trying to put together a bow drill kit. I have no idea what I am doing or where to source material but have plenty of homework to do.

32? A mere youth! My Dad started studying for a degree through the Open University when he retired, and I qualified as a gym instructor and started a sports science degree in my mid 50s.
