I am working on a replacement idea for the Marlin Spike Hitch suspension system that uses webbing, whoopie sling and toggle. It replaces the toggle with a Rapide but not in the way you may think! If it works when tested it will provide a suspension system like the toggle system for whoopie slings only better! I will demo at the Moot if a goer.
I am group buying Pear Maillon Rapides that have a WLL of 170kg and a BL of 850kg.
Perfect for our Bushcrafty needs. They are 316 stainless steel, light at 19g each, really compact and beat the heck out of a carabiner. They will act as a drip interrupter and should reduce wear on your webbing and lines.
Price for a pair is £4 + £1 if you want them posted. (Post free with another item or delivered to the Moot!)
