Excellent film. Not really bothered if it's not based on facts too closely. If it was it would have been called a documentary and made for £100000 by and for BBC4.

I prefer the hollywood gloss with my popcorn.

I was mighitly disapppointed with! The action is cool, and the special effects are impressive, but it didn't work as a film. There was no real story line, and minimal character development, and at the end you didn't feel anything for the 300 who died - just that they were arrogant sods with a stupid religion that led them to their deaths.

But the action was cooooooooooooool...
