There's some excellent work there. I really like the clip point. It's got a little bit of a nessy look to it. Will you be upgrading to maker any time soon then? It'd be a shame not to pass a few of those on to forum members.

Wondered if it gave it a more stain resistant finish that's all. Nicely thought out to balance it

yes the smoother the finish the harder it is for rust to start forming

ie if i grind a bevel on my 36gt belt dip it in water it will show rust stain in 5-10 mins
