What I'm finding amusing, is that your both chatting on here when a shout down the hill would have done ;-)

Is my bridge still standing or has the trickle turned into a roaring torrent and washed away?

Wouldn't have heard a foghorn through the rain last night.

The stream was like white water rapids but think bridge is still standing

Well, a good time was had by all (except for the person who got rather damp last night). It rained all night long, was not as bad as Tuesday nights storm. But was not far off. Eight people said they were coming and eight people turned up. I was well chuffed.
Have not sorted the dates out yet but the next meet will be sometime mid September. The charge will be £6, £5 for the farmer and £1 to go in a kitty to buy things like a parachute and a small shed to be used for a composting toilet

Thanks for a great time this weekend, it was brilliant, I cant wait for the next meet. I would like to thank Ian for making it possible to use such a superb venue, also his lad Chris for tirelessly cutting down all the dead standing trees which have been collected and stacked ready for the next communal fire. Most of all thanks to each and every one of the members who made such a memorable weekend. Cheers digitracker and flyfisher.

Badger74 Your bridge stood the test. it was like the clifton suspension bridge this morning over a torrent of water, I was crossing it like a gazelle, Cheers.

Chis and Sue sorry I missed you when we left you were getting the zeds in at the time, hope to see both of you again, had a cracking time.

Well, all I can say is thank you all for coming. We have about 7 names down for Sept meet already. I have got a good feeling about this site now.
Adam, what happened to all your pictures?

Sorry for delay bud, Been really hectic since I got back plus internet connection has been really bad so been a pain trying to get them uploaded/organized. Will try and get them up tonight.

I'm no David Bailey by any means so don't expect decent angles/positions etc, I just usually point and snap. :D

Its a shame we forgot to get a group one, We will have to make sure we remember for next meet.
