Few weeks ago had a 22km hike in the brecon beacons.
We arrived to pen y fan on saturday, went up to the top, the weather was crap, rain, wind and fog. After that we spent the rest of the day in the car park, got totally soaked. We slept in a van, it was cool
Next day we started the hike with going up to fan fawr, it is a 734m peak but steeper than pen y fan. From the peak we went down to the water reservoir and towards ystradfellte, after the village we got on the 4 waterfalls trail, checked out all 4 of them than left the trail after the last waterfalls and walked in to penderyn where we had a pint.
It was a great hike, i enjoyed the first part mostly from fan fawr till the waterfalls trail because it was quiet, while pen y fan was busy, on this bit we only met 1 couple.
On this hike we started out from mountains, then crossed some grass lands, forests a gorge, saw waterfalls and farmlands. Really loved it.
I filmed this trip, if anyone cares to watch the video it is on yt
