This bag/pouch is an entirely hand made copy of a 18th century Northampton hunting pouch, using 2 mm veg tan leather from Leprevo, hand sewn with strong polyester thread.
Dimensions are 8" wide, 9 1/2" high, there is a 2" gusset on the bottom of the bag. The closure is a 6mm Sam Browne stud. The adjustable shoulder strap is 2" and 56" long.The adjusting buckle is 1" brass. There is a small pocket on the strap. The flap has two layer of leather with piercings and decorative leather inserted between the layers and hand sewn.

The second one is from the same pattern with some modifications, including a douple pocket on the inside and a 1/2" brass buckled strap at the back to enable carrying unobstrusively any sheath knife.
The strap is fixed length 56". The decoration on the flap is this time a piercing of an owling wolf, using a dark velvet fabric that imitate the fur. There will be a Sam Browne stud closure.
I am also awaiting some leather dye from Leprevo to finish the dyeing on this bag.
(Those spots on the bag was some damp patch from wher I took the pics!)
