This was bought to edge a piece of carpet to make a rug for under a computer chair, but the online 'Rust' colour that I thought I was getting turned out to be a burnt orange colour, and it just won't do.
I have to pay the postage to return it, and since that cost me £6.50 in the first place I'm not happy to do that twice, iimmc.

This morning I started a thread asking for ideas about what to do with the tape.

Up front, it should dye, but it'll need to be either a tannin dye or one meant for linen. If it doesn't say on the pack that it will dye linen, then it won't work.
Dyeing won't work for me because I don't want darker, I want pinkier. As it is it's quite a nice autumnal colour.

Postage, paypal, etc., are a right royal pain in the neck, but I'm fairly sure I've sorted it out.
I'll take some photos of the tape in the daylight tomorrow, but it's very similar to the stuff in this link; just mind the colour is burnt orange, please.

A bit brighter looking than it really is. It's almost the colour of new clay pots.
