1st time in a camping pod

Took the family in a camping pod this weekend at Stanley villa campsite near Blackpool, thought I'd give the glamping a go.
we arrived and were greeted by the owner Alex who showed us to our pod and just told us to help our selves to logs , BBQ coals and fire lighters out of the cabin and just pay him and remind him what you have taken when you see him that I thought was very trusting and how it should be. Bags of kindling we're free and so we're fire pits and BBQs that every pod had. It was at the foot of a beautiful fishing lake and the pods were all in a circle with a grass area in the middle with all toys etc for the kids to play with as I ban iPads phones and all gadgets from camping so I can spend some quality time with my kids. I know it's not exactly bushcraft but it's still getting outdoors and having a great time with the loved ones hope you like the pics as the kids really had a great time and me also

good stuff, like you said its getting outdoors and its ideal as a bridge to get the young ones and partners into more camping. We did a pod in the peaks early in the year, was glad to be in the pod as the wind got terrible. The kids enjoyed it and its a new experience to try.

Haha he loved it I've had the other two camping in the woods and the lad on a middlewood meet but easing the baby into it slowly haha
