That's great work mate! But I still question the logic behind risking a vital piece of kit such as a Firelighting Steel to wet weather, loss, damage, corrosion etc by leaving it nakedly exposed on a knife sheath? My steels go in my pocket, a pouch or around my neck on a lanyard.
It is used often so corrosion is not a problem, and unless it is exposed to salt water it does not seem to be affected by being wet, the firestick is also now attached with a lanyard to prevent loss.
