vey strong back springs I have cleaned and oiled and its still a strong pull, less so on the main blade.
you can probably work it more if you like.
When I phoned Victorinox they where very keen to see it and said they have a special section to clean these up if you want to send it in via the London shop etc. not that it need it to use it.
the blade sharpens well [and I am not very good at it].
the awl is a beast, the best on any tool I have owned.
big flat screwdriver/pry bar
the only thing I cant wok out is how ro use the can opener.
the whole knife is very, very sturdy the balance and fit in the hand is just superb.
