Probably not the best forum for this? If you dial 999 in the UK as long as there is coverage with any network, doesn't matter who our with your call will be connected. The 112 prefix is for when your roaming internationally

Shewie did and I put a post up about it too IIRC. Its worth looking at the text option though and registering your handset. You can use 999 OR 112 in the UK these days.
