    large tarps

    i would like something different to sleep in, a tent that fires can be lit in would be good ( a tipi tent?), or a cheaper option of a large tarp (or suitable material) that could be set up to a smaller version of a parachute. any ideas and where to buy?

    animals i have seen

    during the last month i have watched 2 foxes eating a sheep through my binoculars for about 15 mins, and today i see a bird of prey close up coming out of its nest :) i think it could of been a red kite. thought id share!

    dry bracken for tinder

    i have tried using this on a number of occasions but always fail. it just does not burn for me, i choose the most dead bracken i can find and the most dry, even dry it for a couple of hours in my pocket but still no luck. anyone know what is going wrong?
