Not the latest version. Comes with a little red plastic box to keep it in. It's only been used twice I reckon. Not sure what I want for swaps though as I'm trying to have a bit of a clear out. An Outwell kettle would be nice, but that's quite specific.
Haven't done any leather work in a while so I thought I'd make a new mask for my Stefan Ronnqvist axe.

Thought I'd have a go at making a different kind of bowl. Not perfect, but I'm happy with it as a first attempt.

This is the 1.5 litre Aluminium version with carry case. It's never been fired up, but there is a dent in the side. Just don't think I'll get round to using it as I prefer my Pocket Rocket. Not sure want I want to trade for. You can never have enough tools though. I think they cost about £40 so...
I bought one of Dave's spoon knife blades last week and have just put a handle on it. Haven't had a chance to really try it out properly. Hopefully I'll get round to doing some spoon carving this weekend and then I can do a proper review. My initial thoughts are that I'm very impressed and at...
Most of the bowls I've turned have been between 5 - 7 inches in diameter, so last week I decided to have a go at something a bit bigger. The one on the left is just to give you some idea of what I'm used turning.

I scored a load of green sycamore on Friday and celebrated that evening by carving this bowl. The carved decoration took longer than I thought it would, but I think that it was worth it. More pics and info on my blog.
I've got a weekend camping ticket for Spoonfest 2013 up for grabs. I can't go because of a wedding (you can read the full story on my blog, link below). I've emailed Barn and he said that he's happy for me to sell it on. The cost of the ticket was £50 so a trade of that value would be great...
Does anyone have any advice on where I could get hold of some natural pigments to use for mixing with egg/milk paint and then painting on to my spoons and bowls?
I had a go recently with limited success. There are more details on my blog:

After thinking about it for a while i decided to have a go at turning a car boot buy kent pattern head into a decent carving axe. It worked out really well and i will definitely be having another go, especially as i've given this one to my brother. lots more pics on the blog.
This is for a solo mosquito net that will fit over a single bed or mattress. It's wedge shaped with a central hanging point and is impregnated with permathrin. Cost £25 new about eight years ago and has never been used so lets say £10 plus postage.
