Have you got a rucksack of some description? (Aldi are doing a reasonably ok one for £19 or you can pick up a good PLCE one from evil bay). As a general rule you should be able to carry all of year gear on yer back and take it in a single trip. Or you could put everything in plastic bags and...

Its very hot in Oman, I spent 2 months out there in 2004 and its 50 degrees C all day everyday!! Places of interest are Muscat which is the Capital I beleive, lots of Bizaares and stuff (and air con). The taxi drivers all have death wishes so be careful. There's a mountain region down south...

I've just ordered some veggie tan from brisa, they specialise in knife bits so they're ideal, only downside is they're i sweden and charge 10 Euros P&P so its only a good idea if your gonna buy a few bits and bobs aswell. That said they sell the threads and tools needed for sheath making...

I've got friends in the marines who had worm omlettes during training and theyre both still here ;) Would rather just have the omellete myself as I wouldn't have thought they'd have much nutritional value (well not as much as the eggs :p )
