I've had bother too. I ordered amongst other things an "unissued" Norwegian battle sack, thermarest and Greek parka. The sack was used, thermarest inflated like a ballon at the valve and parka spattered in paint with a large hole and suspiciously short in the arm, miami vice short. Mistakes...

Hi, thanks for the comments. no, I wouldn't be firing flames into a Lavuu, especially as I don't have one...the idea though is that the flue would be extended and vented out of a shelter. Ive looked at a few similar projects on the go and thought it would be fun to start an ideas thread that...

Hi all, been thinking about a cheap, simple stove for use in maybe a polish lavuu or entrance to a tarp or teepe. I picked one up for the kids some time ago for a score. Never slept out in it but left out in the rain and no problems with leaking. The ground sheet is separate which should help with condensation as should the top vent, might give it a go...
