    Karrimor Predator Tecmac 50

I have the patrol 45 so our bags are from the same material. Have you used it in rain? Should I use a waterproof stuff sac inside it and in the side pouches?

    Karrimor Predator Tecmac 50

Yes that's why I didn't bought them. They are great for military usage to carry more magazines which the pockets are designed for.

Attaching a yoke to PLCE Side pockets

I've bought a karrimor patrol 45 today also with the 2 side pockets. I didn't bought the yoke yet because It was hardly cheaper then a sabre 30 itself. So I think, if I need a smaller daypack then the patrol, i would prefer to buy a sabre30 due to the larger main compartment then a separated one...

    Karrimor Predator Tecmac 50

aha en you can still use the bagpack without the removable carriage if you don't need it? Sound great also for phototravelling :)

    Karrimor Predator Tecmac 50

Well.. I think it's design to carry a military radio into the field. Could you carry a laptop in it? Is the removable carriage located insite the main compartment? I cannot see exactly where it connects to the bagpack. If it can carry a laptop and removed if it's not needed, it could be...

    Karrimor Predator Tecmac 50

aha oke. I'm considering the Patrol 45. It's 5 litre less so I don't think I would notice that. It's still not to be delivered here in the netherlands. Hopefully it will be soon or I have to order it unvisible from the UK. It seems a great bag and the olive green also seems to be a good...

    Replacement for Sabre 75?

In the dutch army, some guys who are long don't like the saracen. They also say the hipbelt from the karrimor is stronger then the saracen especially when you carry heavy loads for a long time. (special troops). So if possible, try to test both of them.

Found Lowe alpine military bags for sale

Are you in the dutch army? Me too..... but I'm also considering the Karrimor's ... Have you experience with them in the field?

    Coolmesh straps vs normal one's

Yes, that should also a plus that the back is a bit more away from your back. I'm currently a member of the national guard that why i want to combine the back with military usage. I'm tempting to the karrimor's. They are a bit cheaper too then the LA's. \That's why I have doubts...

    Karrimor Sabre 30 question

besides the additional 5 liter? why?

    Coolmesh straps vs normal one's

Besides my post about the karrimor sabre 30, I'm also into a bigger one. Although I'm not sure about which size yes, I have to narrowed it down to militaire version too. In the dutch army, the Lowe Alpine's Sting(ray) and saracen are general available but after I've seen the big karrimor's...

    Karrimor Sabre 30 question

Do you mean the Deuter rob?

    Karrimor Sabre 30 question

Yes it's true. I also found the Deuter Trans Alpine. That one is actually designed for mountainbiking: http://www.trailspace.com/gear/deuter/trans-alpine-25/ With the militair version of the karrimor, I could also use it for national guard usages but I can't go into the woods with the Deuter :)

    Karrimor Sabre 30 question

That's also an good explanation for the hip straps. Actually you don't put that mutch weight in this back to really need hip straps. If I could use it for mountainbiking, I only put in some spair clothes and repair stuff.
