    Well, to the point if it clears water yes. Tested it with both muddy water and unclear small lakewater, clears it without any trouble... This ofcoruse, isn't a guarantee that the water is bacterially clean though.

    Hi guys! Posted this in the diy section wrongly first. Need a bit of advice here.. I´m a tad lost on how to actually finish off the sheath and knife i made the other day... Lets start with the handle...i want a waterproof and shiny look, so i´ve been thinking about using beeswax on the handle...

    The handle was shaped using a belt grinder and sanpaper by hand! The walnut is oiled with 4 layers of danish oil, and i´m thinking about giving it a layer of beeswax and then a buffing.
