Well, to the point if it clears water yes. Tested it with both muddy water and unclear small lakewater, clears it without any trouble... This ofcoruse, isn't a guarantee that the water is bacterially clean though.

So i've been looking at these cheap chinese water filters for some time now, wondering if they're anything worth buying or not..but seeing as the pricetag's only at about $30, i decided to get one just for the heck of it. While at it, i did a little review :o So here it is...

Well actually that´s the case, but the groove got too big at that specific spot =) The groove isn´t dyed at all, so your right in that.

Ok, so maybe i´ll just have to settle on the look it has now... Just wondering, would beeswax or any other wax product like Reinassance wax improve the look or spoil it?

No, the thing was that when i was making the line back, my girlfriend bumbed the chair, making me go off center from the stiching holes, which were already drilled... So i had to make a second groove and that´s why it looks like that. I have filled in the second groove with dye now(not in the...

The handle was shaped using a belt grinder and sanpaper by hand! The walnut is oiled with 4 layers of danish oil, and i´m thinking about giving it a layer of beeswax and then a buffing.
