    10 Tors 2007

Well I am back now and have dried out after a thorough soaking. I don't know if any of you have heard on the news that the 'Event' was cancelled, mainly due to the swollen rivers which were very fast flowing. For us things got off to a good start, we knew where we were going, had a decent...

    10 Tors 2007

Just out of interest is anyone going to Dartmoor this weekend for 10 Tors? If you are, are you in a team, a trainer or a parent? I for one am going down. I'm doing the 55 mile walk this year (gulp)! The first time you do it you say you will never do it again, yet somehow you always come back...

    This is....sickeningly hilarious.

"In fact, the cost of the components if purchased separately is several HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!" bullsh1t would that cost hundreds of dollars. I like the "you will survive" comment. What a muppet. To be honest I am glad that you aren't connected to the seller I would be ashamed of knowing him!

Japanese Man Hibernates for 3 weeks...or not?

In relation to the cooling of the brain there was a programme on channel 5 a couple of months ago. It was called 'Medicines strangest cases', it featured a man from the USA who had a brain tumor that would kill him in a few months. All other treatments had failed as the tumor was deep inside his...

"Humans Can Track Like Dogs; No Word on Tail-Chasing"

Strange and interesting find Jodie. It might take a while for that one to catch on. Somehow I dont think it will help any of us bushcrafters sniff out the rabbits. Anyone up for trying it? :joke:

    "Sigg" type bottles

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds good, I will have to try and get there before the offer ends. Bargain at £2.69 compared to Sigg. Plus they are from a reputable company. Did I hear right that Karrimor have been taken over by Lowe Alpine?

Wow, I never knew pepper was as powerful at healing as people say it is. That stuff should be on the NHS, works wonders with heart attacks. On the site I went on someones heart even started beating again after they 'died' but they were brought back by a dose of cayenne pepper! Interesting...
